Forthglade has announced the launch of its ‘50 for 50’ campaign to celebrate its 50th birthday.
The pet food manufacturers will donate 50,000 trays of its natural pet food to 50 UK charities that support vulnerable animals in need.
Some 10 charities will be selected each month from May to September by the business to receive donations.
The British public will then be invited by Forthglade to vote for the charities per month to receive the donations over the summer.
James Kennedy, sales director for Forthglade, said: “What better way to celebrate our 50 th birthday year than recognising all the great work achieved by the dedicated charities across the UK offering care to dogs in need, especially following such an exceptionally tough year for fundraising and managing care required to keep dogs fit and well.
“Whether a charity offers care to injured dogs, supports the rehoming process, or even offers training to assistance dogs, we encourage them to submit their details for our 50 for 50 campaign.”
