Fish4Dogs boosts sales team

Fish4Dogs has boosted its sales team by bringing on board a business manager from the pet industry and promoting one of its customer service advisors into new positions.

Patina Pickard and Jack Sheldon join territory manager Judith Laurie to make-up the team under the direction of Sarah Fowler.

Patina has worked in the UK pet trade for 25 years, during which time she has worked closely with customers to help develop and build their businesses. She was latterly a sales representative and business manager for Vital Pet Products offering advice across a wide range of products.

“I am keen to work with retailers so that they fully understand the products, their associated benefits and suitability for pets. Fish4Dogs is an ideal ‘one stop food system’ with a good range of complete foods and I’m delighted to join the team in raising awareness about the products.” she said.

Jack, who has worked for Fish4Dogs since leaving university two years ago, becomes sales representative for the West of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He intends to use his knowledge of the product range and UK trade customer relationships to increase the presence of Fish4Dogs in retail outlets.

“I have been lucky enough to work for Fish4Dogs for the past couple of years, know the product range really well and have developed relationships with many of our existing customer by providing phone support. I am looking forward to this new challenge: being out on the road and meeting people face-to-face and bring more retailers into our fold.”

CEO Graham Smith said: “I would like to welcome Patina to the team and congratulate Jack on his new role.

“Having the team in place will help move our brand forward by nurturing existing relationships, understanding and meeting customer needs and securing new opportunities to increase availability within the market place.”
