Royal Canin and BVRA announces new receptionist roadshow

Royal Canin has teamed up with the new British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA) for a series of Roadshows aimed at enabling receptionists to increase their core contact skills with clients.

Designed around four core contact points; first contact, diary entry, arrival and waiting and finish and follow up stages, the roadshow will see experts from BVRA visit six locations across the UK this year.

John O’Connor, veterinary marketing manager at Royal Canin, said: “Receptionists are usually the first contact a client has with a practice and as we all know, first impressions last! A crucial element of all customers’ experience, reception staff come across a variety of daily challenges, including dealing with upset clients. Their positive attitude, organisational and listening skills are imperative to running a successful practice.
