Dogs at an animal rescue centre in Burton-on-Trent can now relax on soft artificial grass in their kennels this National Dog Day, thanks to LazyLawn®.
In support of the national awareness day, LazyLawn® has donated offcuts of high quality artificial grass to the Hillfield Animal Home (RSPCA Burton-on-Trent and District Branch).
Anglea Whitehurst, a trustee at the Hillfield Animal Home said: “Since the RSPCA is self-funded and relies greatly on donations, we were thrilled when LazyLawn® donated artificial grass.
“It makes the kennels look more inviting not just for the dogs, but also visitors to the centre. The artificial grass brightens up the kennels and adds a splash of colour. Thank you LazyLawn®!”
Amanda Ford from LazyLawn® (Derbyshire branch) said: “We were delighted to donate some artificial grass to the Hillfield Animal Home, since the staff and volunteers work hard to look after the animals.
“It was lovely to see how excited the dogs were when they started rolling around on the soft artificial grass. We hope that they enjoy relaxing on their new comfy addition to the kennels.”
The Hillfield dogs aren’t the only four legged friends that are benefitting from more comfortable surroundings this National Dog Day. The RSPCA Animal Rehoming Centre in Derby and the RSPCA Preston and District Branch also received donations from LazyLawn® earlier this year.
