The Dog Treat Company (DTC) debuts at NEC’s Farm Shop & Deli Show

On April, 24-26, The Dog Treat Company (DTC) attended the NEC’s influential fine food exhibition. The farm shop & deli show, which features human food, also showcased DTC’s distinct dog treats and branded pouches.
DCT recently moved into a purpose-built pet treat bakery on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, The firm has been working to create a dog treats range that can build upon its online and independent pet store success, establishing a significant ‘pawhold’ in alternative food and drinks venues where food-loving dog lovers congregate.
DTC founder, Joe Halliwell commented: “As a brand that already enjoys significant exposure across a number of dog- friendly pubs & boutique hotels, garden centres, farm shops and distinguished fine food emporiums like Fortnum & Mason, we felt now was the perfect moment to present our new look product portfolio to an inquisitive yet well-informed foodie audience: small batches, best-in-class ingredients, intriguing flavour liaisons formats and better-for-you recipes.
“After only two days we’re pleased to declare this alternative outing an unprecedented success with sales already mirroring what we achieved at PATS (Sandown).”
