Carina Evans, co-owner of Dog Rocks, has received the prestigious Pet Age – Forty Under 40 Award for 2016.
The Forty Under 40 awards program celebrates the most accomplished young businessmen and women who have been making headlines. It celebrates those who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and to the community in the pet industry.
Carina Evans, who has been in business for more than ten years, was nominated after meeting criteria that included being under 40 years of age at the time of the nomination and possessing significant authority for decision making within a pet-related company or organisation.
Since moving into the North American pet market with its lead product (Dog Rocks) in 2012 the company has grown significantly. Other opportunities arose and the business now offers 20 product lines including the award winning Torus Bowl and Pet Remedy. The team specialisse in the UK, European and North American Pet Markets.
Dog Rocks Distribution Ltd is owned by three ex GB athletes who have transferred their skills from sport to business. Andrew Hine and Nick Evans having represented GB during their careers playing International Polo and Carina Evans having represented GB as a World Cup Skeleton athlete.
