Sneyd’s Wonderfeeds pays tribute to former managing director, Phil Judson

Sneyd’s Wonderfeeds’ new promotional video is a fitting tribute to their former managing director, Phil Judson.

Leading pet and working dog food manufacturing company, Sneyd’s Wonderfeeds, has recently completed a new promotional video which shows its manufacturing processes, profiles its Scunthorpe factory and features a testimonial from the Captain of the England Retriever Team and three times winner of the IGL Retriever Championship, David Latham.

This Lincolnshire-based family-owned company which has specialised in producing the highest quality dry dog and working dog food for the past 42 years has a loyal customer base which includes breeders, show dog owners, gundog and working sheepdog trialers as well as pet owners.

Over the years the company has acquired a reputation for producing some of the best dry, value for money food on the market and with testimonials on their Facebook page such as “the best feed to date that I have found”, “the best food ever, I would not feed anything else,” and “I’ve used Wonderdog Special for as long as I can remember it’s everything any dog will ever need” it shows that this brand has quite a following.

More recently, the company has extended its range to include premium, super premium plus life-stage diets as well as recipes that deal with specific dietary requirements of dogs. Their Elite range which was only launched at the end of last year and caters for dogs with allergies and intolerances is already selling well.

Sadly during the making of the video, Sneyd’s Wonderfeeds managing director and family member, Phil Judson was unexpectedly taken ill and passed away. Phil and his wife Hayley, daughter of the company founder, John Sneyd were instrumental in growing the business and making it what it is today.

Phil had worked in the dog food industry for nearly 30 years and for 25 years of that he was managing director of Sneyd’s. His passing was a great loss to the firm but the family has been consoled by the wonderful messages they have received from their customers, retailers and stockists.

The company will remain as a family business with Phil’s son-in-law, Ryan Sinclair now taking over the mantle of running the company. Ryan had been working alongside Phil for a number of years and had already built up an excellent understanding of the dog food market.

Ryan said, “We will continue to grow and make the Sneyd’s brand even stronger, developing new diets and extending our customer base in Phil’s memory. We all feel that this new promotional video which features Phil, is a fitting tribute to a wonderful man.”
