Aquarian is recalling its Tropical Flake Food and Goldfish Flake Food products with various ‘best before’ dates as a precautionary measure due to products potentially containing Salmonella.
The FSA has issued a product recall notice.
There is a risk to consumers handling the products due to the possible presence of Salmonella in the products. Symtoms usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
Aquarian is recalling the affected products and point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores where the products are sold, and a press release will be issued.
These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what actions to take if they have bought the products.
Consumers who have purchased any of the above products are requested not to use it and to contact the Consumer Care team on 0800 952 0083.
