Pet accessories company Ancol is sponsoring Birmingham Dogs Home’s ‘Walk in the Park’ to raise money for stray dogs. Last year’s event raised £2,000 for the charity.
The walk will be held June 5, 2016 at Walsall Arboretum. Walks will take place from 9:30am in scheduled time slots around a 3km route of the park.
A BBQ and refreshments will be available serving breakfast from 9am and snacks throughout the morning. There will also be a range of stalls from 9.30am until 1.30pm, including microchipping, ‘pet pawtraits’ and much more.
Entry fee is £5 per dog. All money raised will be donated to help the thousands of stray dogs that Birmingham Dogs Home looks after at its centres in Solihull and Wolverhampton every year.
